Impact of COVID-19 on airline industry and strategic plan for its recovery with special reference to data analytics technology

This paper discusses the status quo of airline industry around world facing COVID-19 pandemic situation. The purpose first part this study was to assess impact on global air traffic, revenues by region operation, number international passengers region, and domestic passenger traffic route group. data for collected from January 2019 December 2020 International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) database. research strategy second is based PEST analysis which applied evaluate current situation industry. Based findings, suggests strategies recommendations adapt technology aspects more specifically related analytics with a multi-step approach Airline Recovery Plan. results will provide valuable information aviation its preparedness Post-COVID-19 era.
